This Is Trans: JOY
Dead Name Theatre (DNT), in Association with ReDefine Arts, is producing its first trans and non-binary musical theatre revue, This Is Trans: JOY. The performance will include 3 Featured Performers who will be vocally supported by The Epic Choir, a community choir of trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit, and genderqueer singers, (provided by ReDefine Arts) and a 4-piece band. Presented by DNT, ReDefine Arts, and Pride Toronto.

TO Summer Music: Silver Thread
Toronto-based chamber choral ensemble Silver Thread performs a programme exploring wisdom on the human condition, centred around settings of texts from Khalil Gibran’s The Prophet. Featuring works by Francesca Hauser, Nicholas Wanstall, Sami Anguaya, Kai Leung, and more! Presented by the Toronto Summer Musical Festival.

Considering Matthew Shepard
Considering Matthew Shepard is a powerful concert event presented by Modern Sound Collective that invites audiences to reflect on the ongoing work for dignity and safety for 2SLGBTQI+ people around the world. The program commemorates the life of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man whose 1998 murder sparked meaningful conversation around hate crimes and homophobia in North America. Presented by Modern Sound Collective and Pride Toronto.
Anika is an alto with MSC, and is a featured soloist.
The House of Special Purpose
The Twilight Company’s “The House of Special Purpose” is a dreamy, fragmented musical about the Romanov family’s reign and brutal execution during the Russian Revolution. Trapped in the room where they died, the Romanovs are suspended in a dreamlike purgatory - spinning “around and around and around” as they relive the moments that define their lives and continue to reverberate through history.
Anika is playing Olga in this production.
Datsuzoku: Hero's Journey
Hero’s Journey is a choral concert that tells a timeless story of trials, transformation, and triumph explored through song.
Anika sings as a professional lead with Datsuzoku.
Concreamus: Power Dynamics
Concreamus premieres Francesca Hauser’s newly commissioned work Parturition alongside Ted Hearne’s searing oratorio Sound from the Bench in an ambitious concert exploring the politics of body, voice, and liberation.
Anika is singing with Concreamus.
Orpheus Choir: SOUND | SPACE
Orpheus closes out the season alongside guest artists, the Guelph Chamber choir in a dynamic program of music for double choir. Anika is singing as a Sidgwick Scholar with Orpheus.
Orpheus Choir: Rejoice in the Lamb
Join the combined 100+ voices of the Orpheus Choir and Durham’s RESOUND choir, as well as a professional orchestra, as they perform several masterpieces by composers from the United Kingdom. Anika is singing as a Sidgwick Scholar with Orpheus.
